Run a lot of small loader/backhoes and bobcats, but never a large dozer or trackhoe. I have put hundreds of windows in them, but would jump at the chance to run one!!

Have fun!!!!

I did play with a dozer several day‘s without hearing protection because i love Engine Sounds.

Inside the cabin it was not loud at all.

In my Ears a Engine noise is like a Music composition.

Ok, maybe i‘m crazy about that - but i Love cool Engine Sounds.

They don‘t must be Loud, they only must have that certain something.

A silenced V8 is somtimes more sexy than a 4“ open Pipe, It depends on the Frequency‘s - or RPM‘s.

I only had luck, not loosing my front teeths, when riding over a hill with fixed Backrest and lifted shield.
😎

@RandyLittrell whenever you have a chance to play once with a dozer, just do it.

This is pure force and Power and you can feel that while riding.

Wish you get that chance once in your Life, that's one of the things a man should have experienced.

If a guy wants to, probably for less money, you can come rent a ‘hoe or dozer and move sone dirt at my place!  That’ll get my pond dug in a quick hurry!  :hide:

I grew up in Kansas, where you could get your permit at 14 and drive to and from school, and at a job. I worked at the COOP grain elevator and would drive a grain truck to other towns to haul feed when I was 15. We had an old Dodge 2 ton truck with glass packs and I would row that gearshift through every gear even when empty!! I sure miss those days!!

That is the way to do it, build a ramp so you have good leverage.     :confusion-confused:    Or you could climb the tree, use a chain and pull it down to see how strong the cage is.       :hide:

I kept digging and pushing past the root ball, pushing on the trunk, lifting under he roots, digging, pushing...  It took probably 15 minutes in all.  We’re trying to remove as many root systems as possible but save as much top soil as possible too.

I'be always wanted to play with a dozer.

Even have an opportunity now.  I need about 700' of driveway on our property in Ky.  To ease cleanup, I was considering a skid steer with a forestry attachment for the initial clearing.

Biggest thing around here I would worry about not sure if you have them up there are the yellow jackets. The ones that burrow into the ground. You hit a nest of those a new best off be running as fast as you can!

We’ve has ground bees here too Randy.  A little gas in the hole and the flick of a match at night time... they prolong their sleep time!

Well, this job is finished...ish.  I could have spent more time plucking 1/4 pound saplings with a 30,000 lb piece of machinery, but there was a check engine light and ECU code that cut my work short unfortunately.  I left my slightly broken disc there along with spring tine harrows in case they wanted to pull them around, but they have an 80 hp tractor coming with various farm attachments soon too.
