Tractorhead 8,577 #51 Posted August 6, 2020 Must shortly back into office, but i embraced my new Horse when i came back home. - don‘t ask how the neighbours look at me... 😂😂😂 Gents, believe it or not, that was my best Birthday since i can remember, even while sadly the Big show was dropped about that dang Corona thing. But the Big Show is just shifted not dropped. It is maybe just a old and small machine maybe not much worth for somebody, but it means a lot to me. Glad everything made it and Kevin @pullstart did all that work and a great job to get it there! Thought you might enjoy a couple of the WHCC show shirts since you couldn't come this year. Hope to see you wearing one in person next year! 2 1

Tractorhead 8,577 #62 Posted August 10, 2020 Question to the more experienced metric Fella‘s, While i searched in the Basement, i also found a highload Steelrope with a diameter of 4mm, i had in spare from a prototype construction. I’m not experienced if it can be used for the rear Attachements hintch. Did i‘m right with that Size or shall i be lookin better for something Stronger? It shall be suitable for up to 2 Tons, but i‘m not sure if that will last, because i have definitely no experience with any Steelropes. i plan to built a Plow Attachement for the Horse to use my double sided Plow i will rework. If it can be used, i keep it
Tractorhead 8,577 #63 Posted August 10, 2020 Yap Buddy, It seems so, didn‘t find my inch Screw set. 🙄 wrenches are not the Problem here i be prepared for both worlds, but bolts and nuts are not that easy to get here. Think i must changed few Screws to Metric Values, they be much more Handy here.
Pullstart 59,570 #64 Posted August 10, 2020 Plus a 10mm is likely stronger than a 3/8... 8mm and 5/16 are similar but negligible as are 1/4 and 6mm. 1
squonk 38,848 #65 Posted August 10, 2020 Get a left-handed SAE-Metric Cresent (adjustable)wrench. You'll be fine. 1 1

Tractorhead 8,577 #67 Posted August 13, 2020 @squonk Mike, I don‘t mean with my Inch Screw Set a wrench Set, i mean a set of Nuts and Bolts in inch. i had one, but didn‘t find it ..🤪 don‘t know where i had placed it, too much things on too less place stacked. 😉
Tractorhead 8,577 #68 Posted August 13, 2020 I begun today also with a reskin of my old 212 Seat to bring it back in Service. Never did this before and do this the first time, but i will try. Because the foam is pretty good in shape and i liked this Seat, i decide, to try this Seat first. first Step was remove gently the original border than i remove the old skin. After the Seat was uncovered sat outside, it is sucked with Water, so i let it dry out few Day‘s. Bought a new Skin in double oversize, so if this will Work on the 212 Seat, i will also try the second Seat from the 656 Horse to reskin. The Surface will maybe getting a bit different after reskin, but i liked the Upholstery while it was very comfy.
