A FEW???

This is "a few" ??

A .. is one.

A couple is 2.

A few .  That's around 3 to say... 7(??)

What you've got there is a multitude.

A plethora.

A pile.

Bunches of bunches.

About 62-63 to be almost exact… he was very generous.

Sadly ( in a way), he is cutting back to eventually retire….

Happy for his retirement, but sad that I will be losing a great resource for knowledge and fabrication skills…

Got my car back together today. A previous owner did some rather substandard repairs on it. Replaced the turbo, a couple of bolts(that should have been studs and lock nuts) that were welded to the turbo housing and all gaskets.  The turbo housing had a broken stud and it let the gasket blow out. Nice and quiet now. Also made a new decal for a plate. (a license plate for the front)

Took my mates caravan to the rally site while he followed with pickup and cattle trailer. Set up caravan and awning and also the auction tent. My mate runs the auction and hopefully there may be a trailer I can bid for.

Though the rally isn't till Sunday a lot of exhibiters are already arriving. So spent some time showing them where to set up their caravans and where to display their exhibits.

Returned home and after some dinner, loaded the car with stuff for the auction and my sleeping bag. Back again in the morning to mark out the car exhibit areas.

Photo's should be posted by Monday night, if I'm not to knackered after helping to clear the site.

Got the oil changed in the truck.  They did a software update to close out a recall on it as well.

Raked and burned more leaves.  This gets rid of the majority of the leaves that were caked up in the flower beds.  Maybe some seat time towing the lawn sweeper around in the near future.

Saw a neat car in town the other day.  Was a current model Camaro with a nose, tail, and hood treatment to make it look like a Firebird 500.  Worked pretty good, but the nose seemed short.

Made this mirror holder out of a bit of galvanised pipe and a tractor bucket pin. Fits into the original holder, then bolted a cheap mirror on. Need to trim it down and paint it black, but cheap and the mirror is significantly better than the broken original.

I want to get some decent truck mirrors and adapt them.....

We were heading to Little River Dragway in Temple. Been on a cruise with a couple hundred other cars. Started in Victoria, went to Shiner and toured the brewery, then to New Braunfels to watch American Graffiti at the Stars and Stripes drive in, then to Temple yesterday, and driving to a hot rod shop in Arlington to end it. Been pretty fun!

Thanks for the compliment :-)

The RV is another one of those projects like the Greenhouse, its just sat about for 2 years waiting for us to find time :-) has a few issues to sort out, and a leak that has wrecked a bit of the front bunks, its my first project once we move.

I planted a few tomatoes and peppers yesterday. It's so dry I have been watering them twice a day. They are predicting rain but don't look like we will get any.

Well, I've done it now.  I swapped the snow tires off of the Jeep and put the summer tires on.  If it snows again, it is probably my fault.

I noticed that the inner tread row on both the snow tire and regular tire that were on the left front is worn.  My calibrated eyeball says the camber looks off - the top of the tire appears to be leaning in more than it should.  Nothing loose in the suspension that I could see/feel.  Got to schedule a trip to an alignment rack soon.

Thaw around here has exposed a lot of rough pavement. Mostly poorly done patches from previous years coming unstuck. Tough on tires and suspensions--bonanza for the the tire shops.
