Finished up the tailgate for the dump cart, once paint finishes drying will put it to use. Calling it my vault door, way way over built but it's of scrap I had laying around so it works for me! But I hope I don't drop it on my foot someday :laughing-rofl:

Looks great… vault door is right !

You sure don’t want it to come open by accident, that’s for sure…😆

Are those tail and marker lights DOT and FAA approved ?

DOT yes. FAA I'll stop by the local airport and ask them, but with the weight of that tailgate I don't see flight being a option, she's more like a DoDo :laughing-rolling:

Actually @OldWorkHorse,

It looks like you designed the tailgate to release the lower latches so the tailgate would swing open to dump, or release the upper latches to drop the tailgate like a pickup truck…

was that your plan ?

Stay at a Friend in Berlin and helping him to bring this 2 Shed founds back on the Road.

found condition with unshure History.

At first both Machines gets a pressure Wash to remove gunk and dirt.

Than firstly we have to find few electronic Troubles... no Ignition at all odometer dead and so on....

after that has be solved, the First machine gets an Oil Change, fuel change an we tried a First Start.

boy, nice sound out of that Muffler.

No1 was a disaster in found condition, lots of corrosion but after few hours TLC it runns again.

103cui Engine (my favorite of both )....

The bad condition after 2 years close to a Chicken shed sattled without cover

can not be completely reworked. Chrome flitters from both Rims, a shame keep a Motocycle in such envoirement.

Rain and cickpoop over 2 years does it‘s work...

Yes. I originally wasn't going to had a differnt set up in mind. But then I got to thinking, I'll b moving and hauling sand and dirt and have the power lift with remote control on it so a tailgate easy open for dumping would be convenient and I'll add a quick detach chain stop so I can lower the tailgate truck bed style and it stop flat and will extend the bed ever so slightly.

Got the last piece of roof decking nailed down on my front porch rebuild project today.  Going to put a request in tomorrow for inspection tomorrow.  Hopefully, all will go well.

Already have contacted my mason and roofer to see where I will fit into the or schedule.

Used the 314 to do some driveway work and a ford 9N to drag some of it back out of the woods from the winter plow guy. Then used the cart to collect all the large rocks and built a mini retaining wall near a new power pole thst was installed last year due to a dump truck taking out 5 poles with its bed up infront of my house. My lawn keeps washing away where that had to dig for the new pole. Then dragged a old pallet with the weights on it to smooth it all out. Should rain later in the week and going to drag it again and should be all back to normal. Love these tractors so useful.

Opened up a bit more temporary pasture for the meat birds.  They seem to approve.

The brown/green line?  That’s what 3 days of grazing looks like.

I swapped a non running nearly complete Ariens S16H tractor id picked up last year ...

for a Briggs and Stratton V twin 20 HP.

I haven't heard the B&S run. It has good compression on hand turning.

Supposedly around 400 hours on it.
