Dave, just stumbled across this thread - you are just south of me (i'm in eaton rapids!) thanks for sharing your power steering experience - i was looking at both of those options myself on my 520h so it is good to know they are maybe not so hot. because i don't have a loader, i decided to shelve the idea all together for now, but once i'm in my new house building a loader is on "the list" and i'll be coming back to this thread to take a looksie!

 

i like your blade idea - i'd actually been thinking about something similar to a "quick attach" when i go the loader route so i could pin a bucket, or forks, or whatever.

A little update on this 310, it’ll be getting a FEL upgrade for a higher, longer reach. 
Side note: That 310 looks as big as the 520 😂
