Seriously, this is good news.  We still have 20 states that have done nothing, and the only defense we have at this point is to lock down.  If we all take this seriously and do it...maybe we will not be in lock down as long.  We had 7 deaths to this virus in Kane County, Ill as of this morning.  8 deaths in the county just south of me (DuPage).  4/1/20

4/3/20  Kane   8

            DuPage   14

4/6/20  Kane   15

4/23/20  Kane   37

              DuPage   103

4/26/20  Kane   39

Agree, As an example, I try to shop as little as necessary. I was at the store and you see entire families out there because the say it is okay to go out and get what you need. :confusion-shrug: In my mind every person you add to a group multiplies the odds of contraction.

It is unreal how many people don't understand the gravity of this situation, or just don't want to believe it!

I fully expect us not get back to some degree of normal until August or so. I still have to physically go into the office once a week, but I am working from home most days beyond that. I'm just thankful to not be laid off and keeping my benefits!

Was at Hershey Medical Center this morning. 50 some mile up route 15 and around Harrisburg. Basically no traffic. Like driving on Christmas morning.

I have to go once a week for blood tests and dressing change on my pic line. Doctor has taken me off some meds to get my immune system back up that's down from the chemo. I'm high risk but I feel great.....never though anything would be scarier than cancer..

Take great care and be careful! You have been in my prayers!

Mr. Jay,

I have you on my mind quite often.  I am so happy to hear you’re feeling great and working to get your immune system strong again!  Much love, from Middleville Michigan kind sir!

Wisconsin has been on "lock down" since March 23. Quite frankly I don't think that the these lock downs are tight enough. My job has been deemed as "essential" so I'm exposed to over 200 people every day at work. As far as the rest of life -  We're not able to go to large event, a tavern or eat at a restaurant other than that everyone can conduct life as normal. Guess what... our infected numbers are still climbing. Best we can do is pray for an end to this pandemic,

From an article about some 18% of infected people which don't feel symptoms at all

“We can’t assume that any of us are not potential vectors at any time,” Bergstrom said. “This is why even though I’m feeling great, and have felt great and haven’t been exposed to anybody with any symptoms of anything, that’s why it would be irresponsible of me to go out and about today.”

I pray for the best for you. I have often wondered which was worse the illness or the treatment. Hang in there, stay positive.

Well yesterday 4/1/20 we had 20 states that were not in lock down.  Today 4/2/20 I heard that we have 6 or 8...I heard both.  At least Florida figured it out after much pressure.  What's up with Missouri??

The commissioners of Howard county, Indiana has placed a ban on sales of non-essential items. House decor, furniture, etc....... We are also on a stay at home order minus essential personnel. I’m a security officer for a hospital and we have to wear a mask all the times while at work.

kinda suspicious that June 10th is the day that he picked.

hmmm I wonder why? Could it be that the primary is June 9th?

Our SGSD  (senior grocery shopping day) isn't till Thursday at 6AM.    I hope we make it, as I haven't had to eat water on my cereal since 1948.

Thought I better revise the April calendar.
