Pretty Cool!! Here is a vise i just restored. I used a flap disc and wire brush. i used rustoleum grey primer and a hammered grey paint. I just got it done no it is ready for me to use it and beat the crap out of it. LOL

There is a u-tube  where they restore the big brdther to your Emmert vise, first time I saw one like them. Nice work on your's!

something more to be on the look out for, I cant let the wife know.

Yes I am familiar with it. Its the 10A. Not many were produced. Mine is the 4A and it weighs close to 100Lbs. I have been offered many times as much as $1200.00 for mine . The 10A if not cracked will probably go for close to $3000.00 due to its rarity. The wife for sure would notice that much money gone.
