Interesting adaptation on the seat and bracket. Well done. Perhaps a taller person?

Junk cherry trees always falling apart.

It’s been a productive weekend with the old Dixie horse 310-8. Hauled close to 500lbs of gravel and mowed down some old pathways in the woods. Figure it’s about time to start hauling firewood around so might as well clear the trails.70A8CBCD-8836-4D5F-8D7E-EE467ED91546.jpeg.7fcbe0add92360c71e5bc3fa6924ec5a.jpeg

Thank god for websites like ISAVETRACTORS. It’s helped fuel my wheel horse addiction for a while now🤣

Same here.

Couple years ago I set to pull a small tree over with the Cinnamon Horse C160.

Tightened up the pull rope. Started forward ready to stop and reset the whole time.

Went all the way I was going and then some.... Then.... I realized I hadn't even set the idle to full speed.

Torque. Monster.

Yep!
Brought my 308 back to life for the cost of a fuel pump kit ($9.99)

I don’t think I’ve ever needed more than half idle to pull anything. They have some insane torque.

I normally run about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle.

That engine in fact is set low on the max RPM screw. Should be 3600 or so. I keep it around 3200, 3300. I don't run any engine driven implements except a chipper and it prefers a little lower than full rpm anyhow.

Just keep in mind being air cooled and oil splash lubed these engines should never be run below 1/2 throttle or a little more for the sake of longevity.
