The Tuul Crib 7,331 #1 Posted February 12, 2020 (edited) Looking through Facebook I found this 416-8 just across the Alabama state line. Says it doesn't run right now it did run a year ago. It looks to be in pretty good shape and comes with a wagon. Don't know much about it yet if he still has it I'm going to look at it this weekend. ebinmaine 62,360 #2 Posted February 12, 2020 What's the asking price?
The Tuul Crib 7,331 #3 Posted February 12, 2020 Said he would take 200 . Im just a little hesitant about the Onan engine. I know they can be hard to keep going in some cases and parts are hard to fine for them. The transmission should be worth that anyway if it is the heavy duty 1 1/8 axle 10 pinion.
ebinmaine 62,360 #4 Posted February 12, 2020 If original, that will be 8 pinion transmission. That's the heavy one. Parts alone you could probably get $300 to $400 back out of that if you separated it... If it doesn't turn out to be a runner.
Pullstart 58,794 #5 Posted February 12, 2020 $200? That’s one of those RUN DON’T WALK DON’T EAT DON’T SLEEP JUST GO kinda deals Sounds like you have plenty of big block Kohlers to stick in place if that twin if it gives you any guff... 2 1
squonk 38,569 #6 Posted February 12, 2020 Man I love the Horses but the newer 300-500 series don’t handle being left outside very well.
JoeM 7,444 #7 Posted February 12, 2020 Don't look to bad, usually the front of the hood at the head lights is pushed in. Got a small crease above mule drive. Its not beat up. Hopefully most of that brown is dirt. I do see where the fuel pump and line filter seems to be hanging, may indicate a fuel issue. 2 bills, a short drive with the deck..... sounds real good. Tractorhead 8,526 #8 Posted February 12, 2020 Think on that price it is worth, independent of Engine state. Engine can be swaped, and you got a pretty tough machine. crossing my fingers, that there are no hidden issues, but about that price if i could reach as easy as you, i would catch it no doubt. keep an eye on the Axles if they not completely worn and even on Steering if it was close to accurate, the rest can be fixed.

troutbum70 857 #13 Posted February 13, 2020 The wagon is probably worth 75 dollars alone.
