It’s all just tacked together till I get further along. Not doing like I did on Skittles and have to cut stuff back out.

this will probably drag out longer than 2020 campaign commercials

I would much rather watch this than those   :soapbox:  campaign commercials anyway.

A GT-14? I'm in! Popcorn is on the stove.

Is that rag joint going to stand up to the diesel, or do you have another plan for mating it to the trans? I know that Mercedes used a rubber rag joint for years on their drive shafts. Might be an option if what you have doesn't work!

Are you planning on an aluminum replacement of that radiator or another radiator? Something like a Geo Metro might have something small enough.

Toro has used these rubber discs for years on diesel powered groundsmasters and workmans so I shouldn’t be an issue. Just have to get my stubshaft made for the front crank pulley to mount the yoke. As far as the radiator, I’m looking at a newer model Goldwing radiator that I can modify to fit into the grille. Can’t seem to find anywhere that will sell me just an aluminum core so we can make the end tanks.

Possible useless suggestions:

Actual real live radiator fixer-izer place that still knows what brazing is.

Salvage yard and partially dismantle a late model one.

Tractor REPAIR shop. ( I have one fairly close to me.)

If I can get someone to reply to an email, I could get rolling with it. Just need to know the dimensions on a newer Goldwing radiator.

This is gonna be a saweeet machine when finished and I’m looking forward to the journey to get there.  I’m gonna put on a pot of :coffee: and make up a bowl of  because this may take a while but I’m sure the results will be worth the wait!

Ok phew.

That tractor when I grabbed it was local to me while living in NY.  It still has the dealer sticker on it and that dealer is still in service. Also that tractor was only about 3 miles away from that dealer. I just thought that was cool.

That tractor will stay together. I hope to use it to possibly mow with or pull a trailer. I will freshen it up just a bit but it will be used as is. :handgestures-thumbupright:
