I got this weight with a 312 I recently acquired. Not sure if oem or where it goes? Any info or pictures would be appreciated.

That's an interesting piece Steve.

Do those carriage bolts square holes line up with four holes on the frame or maybe on an implement you might have?

There is a pair on ebay right now listed as frame weights.  I've been keeping an eye on them but can't find much info.

Almost looks like a section of a steel concrete filled lally column with flat stock welded to it and painted WH red  ?  What is the diameter.

There was a front frame weight for the 600-Series of early zero-turn tractors.

The parts list shows four 3/8-16 x 1-3/4 carriage bolts and four 3/8-16 Nylok nuts.

There are also two 7/16-14 x 5" carriage bolts so may not be the one in question.

There is no illustration.

How or where was it mounted on the 312? Or was it separate?

It was separate from the machine. I thought it might mount to the rear tach o matic but does not line up.
