What’s that gauge on the transmission?  That thing’s awesome!  There’s a plow day this weekend to try that hitch...  :teasing-poke:

I've heard....and wish I could make it!

That gauge makes me smile. It serves no purpose other than a plug; apparently a previous owner lost the plug, but had this gauge laying around with the same pipe thread. :)

Whenever I see a serial number I add to the list. 1099 was already on it.

Ah, thanks Garry! Great list! I have a couple more to add that I can send you.

It looks like this one is the 3rd earliest RJ58 on the list. Does anyone by chance know where, or have pictures of the earlier two; #5 or #251?

Thanks, Rob

The early 58s did come with those round hubs. I still have my first one and sold another to AMCrules a while back. Unfortunately, neither had an ID decal. Clay, RJ35hunter might have a good idea of when they changed to the 3 ear style hubs.

Yeah that's fake news...mine had it's original decal...just couldn't read it until it wes removed from the frame and turned over. It's #1188. which is #5  on the list.

Thanks for confirming! Does your #1188 have these big, round hubs, similar to my 1099?

Hi Garry, I just sent you a PM with the serial numbers of the tractors that I have with visible serial numbers. Thanks for maintaining a WH registry; I love it and it's appreciated!

“Haeffnkr” (Kevin) is from whom I bought the tractor several years ago.  He picked it up in Brighton, IL.

incidentally, Kevin worked for an investment house HQ in downtown St. Louis.   That firm (now Edward Jones) used a handful of Wheel Horses to clear snow and do general property maintenance on their campus.   All of the tractors had cabs and blades on them.   And were always kept in nice condition.

wonder what happened to them.
