@Joe Shmo I wish I still had the “goods” to hook you up on the set we found for my dads 953 back in 2017.  Those were American Farmer implement tires. They look great and we’re cost effective but I don’t see them available on their website any longer…😠

Here they are on dad’s tractor, we named Clyde, set up in his winter clothes!

I can’t recommend those tires enough…his are 7.60-15 and they work great.  If you can find a set, snag them!

I love the name “Henrietta” for your tractor😎

They still have them listed, ( kind of in the wrong place for our use) but it says call for availability.

They are pretty dry rotted and the one has been sitting flat for too long I’m afraid

Following this older thread and noticed how much the 1054 resembles the "later" design of the GT 14. Similar grill style, sheet metal on sides of frame around the gear shift and the 15 inch rear wheels. Even the right side belt cover looks almost like the exact one on the GT 14. Concerning the rear tires I too am disappointing the AG tires are just unobtainable at this point :angry-tappingfoot:.

Such a shame as the big wheel tractors SCREAM AG's!

:text-yeahthat:

Front axle is located a bit further back on the GT-14 whereas the 953/1054 had the mounting point at the front of the frame. All the front end and steering parts are the same. The hood on the GT-14 is about 2 3/4" longer than the 1054. The dash casting and steering column and fan gear are also the same on both. GT-14 has a smaller diameter steering wheel but the 1054 wheel will fit right on.

On s vintage patina tractor Rust-Oleum almond color looks great. Just a bit more  tan than most of the original wheels you see but it's a close match to one set I got on a C 141.  forpc.onl minecraft pocket edition pc

That's what I like about the Almond Rustoleum, just a bit more tan.

Simple tire shows em.

You would want to call them to find out how high they are, some 15" tires run a little on the short side and look rather puny.

Specs on Simple Tire say 26.1" which means too short really.

@Sailman @RandyLittrell @ebinmaine

there's also these; BKT 7.5L-15 8PR AS504

Those are higher (765mm/30.1") and a bit wider (210mm/8.3"). Might fit?

The wider the better!

Priority tires shows them to be 29.9 inches tall. The old AG I have and the turfs on the GT 14 are 27. Anyone care to confirm a 30 inch will fit?

They are 8 ply and not cheap!

They also have an 8 inch wide that stand 30 inches tall.

On my GT-14, I am going to go down to 14" wheels and use these tires.

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001THCJB6/?coliid=I2NZ5FUQ44XCD2&colid=1YRSSY74EVO3F&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

They have a spec of 27" and much better priced. Going with 14" wheels really opes up your option for tires with all the UTV tires out there.

Here is a link to 14 and 15" wheels.   https://www.heywheel.com/page17.html

We certainly don't need an 8 ply on a Garden Tractor but at $157 each shipped to my door that's only a little more than a decent quality 12" AG tire.

IIFF it was for a tractor I intended to keep forever I'd use em.

@PeacemakerJack - is that a Cub Cadet muffler on the 953 in your picture?  If not, can you tell me what it is?

I'm still shopping about for a new muffler for my C-195, also named Clyde.

I’m gonna bring @Shynon back in on this one.  I purchased Clyde from him for dad’s 65th birthday.  I’m not sure what type or brand. It has a great mellow sound…

…you can hear it under load in this video!

I love the fact that you have the same name for your Super-C!!! VERY COOL!
