You’re right Jim, it never had a front plate!  Time to fix that :handgestures-thumbupright:

A little site prep...

I decided in the nature of this build to rather than find the correct bolts, do something a bit different.  I drilled out the holes and will plug weld them, along with a bead up top.

The back plate had bent a tad, but some c clamp pressure and the clip is in the right place!

She looks right at home...!

And thank you for not using the correct bolts... don’t want to compromise the integrity of the build...!

As mentioned today in this fun thread…  the WHRat fell off the wheel… or maybe the wheel fell off the WHRat!  In true Rat Fink form, I think I may have found a replacement…

Last year the WHRat was parked up high.  Not much a winter rig.  One of the last times riding, the retaining bolt holding the steering wheel through the steering shaft came out, leaving me to find a way home with a sleeping babe on my lap.  I ended up using leverage to pinch the wheel on the shaft for the last 1/2 mile or so.  I never realized, there’s a broken roll pin in the existing hole.  Today, I used a drill, some emory paper and a c-clamp to get the new wheel pinned in place for good!

A couple yanks of the @Pullstart and the WHRat was awake from winter’s nap.  He must be a millennial, he slept until July!

That wouldn’t be fair, the WHRat has WAY more traction!

I do believe, the WHRat needs to be a bench seater…

The initial idea was to mount a blower squirrel cage to the front of a Horse.  For now, we might just go with Snooter’s own blower and a generator to power him!  :laughing-rolling:

Wood planks screwed down, blower wired in place… shaker plate inspired :handgestures-salute:

The big question, is do I attach a 3500W generator (not WheelHorse powered) onto a stand out front, or just on a little trailer?

If it’s out front, I was thinking on swiveling casters like a front mounted deck.

Yes the goal is to be a little more obnoxious :laughing-rolling:

I cut some plates and tack welded them together for hole drilling exercise.  I’m not too concerned on the taper matching, just a reference side and hole locations.

Everything bolts onto the GT14 Loader stuff, just in case of something.

It isn’t the easiest to drive, a bench seat would definitely help!
