Some guys have deleted the shock and just used a spring. The shock was used to slow the motion of the peddle as a prevention from pulling the front wheels off of the ground when letting the clutch out. 953 nut 51,536 #5 Posted August 25, 2019 If the problem you are encountering is the clutch not returning on its own I would suggest you look at the right side foot rest. If it has been bumped inward it will catch on the clutch lever and prevent the arm from moving freely. If that is the case it is a no cost fix. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
