Thanks Peter I'm having a good look later today/tomorrow so will report back. It joins my 512D and C161 which are great machines 👍

Basic check over today most obvious is I need a replacement clutch pedal spring, transmission rubber boot, trans oil change. Engine is smoke free with fresh oil/filter but surges a little so changed the in line fuel filter it's much better. Need a good run really if it doesn't totally clear I'll strip the carb, cleaned up ok..

Great find on the 416, looks really nice.

But, I'm just as interested in the shop? barn? Love the sandstone walls and timbers.

How about a photo of the outside?

I'll post you an external pic tomorrow when I'm back home. It's a crook barn from the early 16th century originally built with oak timbers which supported the roof. External walls were added C1700... I intend to continue to use the barn as a barn and not make any alterations as so many people do, it's a great place to sit and ponder 👍

Such a cool place!  Your barn is older than my country!
