D180 hydro question

Hello,

Relatively new to wheel horses and recently picked up a d180 that starts and runs pretty well but I have one issue with the hydro drive.  Often when going forward it doesn't seem to want to stop.  I can pull the lever back to neutral or hit the pedal but as soon as I release pressure on either it shoots forward at almost full speed.  I have noticed it mostly does this on an incline, if I'm slightly down hill or flat it rarely does it.  Any help on where to start would be greatly appreciated!

D series have complex motion control linkages that can get out of adjustment.  You can download the Sundstrand manual (click the link below).  It has diagrams of the linkages and a trouble shooting section.
