bc.gold 3,399 #8 Posted May 22, 2019 If it weren't for the dandelions and other weeds we could not have any flowering plants. Fairy rings, and dandelions and clover for the rabbits and bees.
Cvans 1,009 #9 Posted May 22, 2019 Guys please be careful with those sprays. Was visiting with my health insurance agent and found out she has cancer from using sprays around the yard. Not going to mention the name but it is commonly used to kill everything that grows in the yard. She is a Peach of a young lady and she is going through a miserable time now. They say she might live 5 more years. I used to spray the yard for dandelions and other weeds. 2-4-D. Our last 2 wonderful dogs died prematurely from cancer and I believe it's from them running in the residue from that spray. Makes me sick to think about it. And what about the children and grandchildren. So please use caution when applying those herbicides.
bc.gold 3,399 #10 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) It's no secret these class action suits are global, my farming neighbors are glad this poison will soon be off the market. In my neck of the woods a few young guys who became instant millionaires by marring a farm widow whose husband died from cancer. The Canadian class action is against both Bayer and Monsanto, the latter of which originally owned Roundup before it was taken over by Bayer Edited May 22, 2019 by bcgold

The spray boom is wider than the tractor so I use the gage to make sure the spray boom does not snag something while going straight. 20 hours ago, ronhatch said: Your grass looks nice and healthy Marv.
