Hey everyone I seem to have miss placed the rod that goes between the motion arm and the pulleys. Can anyone please get me a measurement of how far it is between the bends so I can make one temporarily til I find mine. I have a show I was hoping to take this to this upcoming weekend. Please?!?!?!?

Yes sir. Still waiting on the boss to finalize our work schedule. Hoping I get Saturday off like last year. This is 1 of 3 mandatory weekends of course.

The speed sector arm for a RJ35 should be straight, there are no bends in the arm.

Ok thanks. For some reason the arm comes on contact with my engine pulley being straight? Any idea why?

I have two here both came with bent arms. Not a haphazard bent but an intentional well done bent. Tried to replace it with the straight arm as it should be, and also had problems with them hitting pulley as speed is changed.

That is a very common problem, make sure you have the correct belt sizes and make small adjustments to the veri drive arm until it clears the engine pulley.

Hi Jean. Welcome to Red Square. Here they are converted to the metric system. Let us know if you need detailed photos. I have a couple of them accessible for that.

Jean

your writing is fine. We understand you perfectly since we are speaking the same language which is the Wheel Horse dialect.
I will post photos of a Rj 35 which is on standby for restoration and another one with some work done.

I recommend that you look on uTube for @VinsRJ videos. He is a member here and in my opinion the most expert on that model. His videos are outstanding on every part of the restoration on that model. He basically has step by step visual instructions on everything to do with it.

Note that your tractor is not a RJ35. It is a Suburban 550.  Frame dimensions I sent you are for a RJ35. Are you inquiring about the wheel offset?

I am curious about the photo with the wheel mounted on rear hub. I have never seen that before. Can you post a photo of hub without wheel mounted on it?

No I do not have any; but I'm falling in love with this little tractor. I would have liked to buy one from you but it is too expensive for transport; so I'm going to build it at least the rolling chassis.
Then I will see to find an engine and other parts
I do not have the dimension of the saddle (width x length) and its height from the frame.
I would like to know the true size of the wheels of the jr35 and its tires
do you have a web link? to see them .
