That's a really weird rear rim / lug setup .

Cool tractor though .

That's all factory. They had long and short spokes. This is a long spoke

It is a RS83. Ride Away Senior. Yes it is like the "daddy" of all wheel horse. My profile pic is a 1946 Pond and it is the "Grandfather" of all wheel horse. It was what started it all.

What did have for an engine Brigs? or Kohler? And is there a dedicated page to look at here for these?

First thing I noticed is the steering arm 180 degrees off does it steer right or did they rebuild the ross steering box and and have to use a reverse pitch steering shaft?

or is that a different steering box from stock?

Neither Gary. It’s a Wisconsin engine.

I was there when your dad and brother pulled in with this and talked to you guys for a minute. I always wondered where these Seniors are hiding at and couldnt believe this one came from a town next to mine. My parents live there actually. Glad to see it will have a good home and is cleaning up nicely. Hopefully see you guys next year there. Bring another Senior please:bow-blue:

Good eye. Yea they did replace the steering box but did get the original one with it. The original needs bearings and see that is only reason why it was changed. It steers correctly and brother took it for a trip around the yard. The electric start is correct also. There is another on register that is 3 serial numbers away with same set up. Only plans of now is bearings in box and put original on and done with it for awhile. One of these days might get them all lined up again for a picture.
