Wheelhorse Wes 279 #1 Posted May 5, 2019 Got my newest horse home today, thanks to MoreyToo on here for letting it go to a good home. My son wasn’t impressed it was red he wanted a green one lol sorry guys he’s only 3 and he’s a John Deere lil guy (there’s still lots of time to change him to a horse guy) 12

AMC RULES 36,941 #3 Posted May 5, 2019 Your poor boy... we'll say some prayers for him. 1
The Tuul Crib 7,332 #4 Posted May 5, 2019 He’ll change his mind once he is old enough for some real seat time! In the mean time talk to him about the color red !!! Nice tractor!!
Terry M-(Moderator) 2,125 #5 Posted May 5, 2019 The 64 models with the sloped dash tower are my favorite... By the way that’s a nice looking 704 ...😊

Once he has driven a Horse he won't want to even think about a Deere!
Wheelhorse Wes 279 #7 Posted May 6, 2019 Thanks guys. My plans for it are to restore it...it’s in the lineup to be restored. The hood is almost mint. Ya my son sat on my lap steering it again around the backyard 2

Wheelhorse Wes 279 #9 Posted May 6, 2019 We moved a couple days ago so my buddy brought my restored John Deere 110 round fender with the Johnson model 10 loader on it to our new place . As soon as it was unloaded my lil guy forgot all about the red one and was all over that green on lol.......I’ve got my work cut out for me to get all my tractors home
oliver2-44 8,834 #10 Posted May 6, 2019 It was the loader that attracted your son. You need a WH with a loader on it
WHX?? 46,690 #11 Posted May 6, 2019 Nice ..I'm with Terry on the slant. Hood looks really strait so a good candidate for a resto. Just keep in mind for your little guy is even a green & yello thingy is a better habit than video games!
Pullstart 59,549 #12 Posted May 6, 2019 Before you strip and restore the rest of it, I’d love to see what a good wet sand job would do on the faded panels!
Wheelhorse Wes 279 #13 Posted May 6, 2019 The bottom thumb screw hole is torn . Someone welded a flat washer into the spot. Hood is really nice. The nicest Wheelhorse I’ve ever bought. I usually buy junk and bring it back to life..... for the wet sand idea I’m not going to waste my time I’ll just sandblast and put new paint on it, make it look brand new 1
