Love those B80s.

An 8 speed w/ no hood ornament so a 1976/77.

Lemme know if you need anything.

It's amazing what these tractors can do with 8hp and some wheel weights/chains

You'll be very happy with that.

My 8 horse pushes dirt just fine. The only reason I switched to a different tractor is because mine has kind of a valve ticking that I don't want to make worse by taxing the engine too much.

You'll probably do very well with that having weights and chains on the back. If you find any steering or traction issues, get all four tires fluid-filled. Huge difference.

She has good power. Forgot how much those plow weight when lifting them up. I think blade is not NOS  but works fine.

Eric I have a 13.5hp commercial grade snow blower. So I will only push to the side and blow the rest. I really did not need a tractor but I guess I just need something to tinker with.

Thanks Steve. It will always be in the garage. The fuel lines where bad on it  so I did a quick change on the lines  to see how it plows. Need to find the bushing and shut off today.

By those pictures, you sure did need one!  It’s funny how perspective is different between some.  When my 502 was just a 502, it was a beast indeed.  Now that it’s 8 hp, 8 speed, I feel like it’s an unstoppable monster!  I do see how the grunt of the big block has it’s advantages, but the 8 horse is a force to be reckoned with.  Congrats on your find!

Thanks Pullstart:  These always where great little tractors. I have had about 5 of these in the past.  But they always where good little tractors. I even had a no name 8 one time good power but bad design with the tranny set up.

I'm curious to know what you mean by that. Hydro or manual?

The 1973 no name 8`s had long shafts on the tyranny's and small tires on the back I belive 3 holes in the rim. It was just like the B80`s but with these changes. It was a design they came up with the save $$. I belive but was only one year thank God Then in 74 the first B80 was introduced. I may have some picks if you like to see them. I am off to get bushing and fuel shut off now. let me know.

No worries Gary. I know what you mean now. I didn't realize they had those on the 1973 8.

I can definitely see why you would not be super fond of that set up.

I started a list of some of my GT's and parts that I

plan on selling, I plan on keeping the round hoods and the '77 C160 auto. But everytime I look at the '77 B80 I think about taking it off the list :snooty:, truth is it's probably the best GT I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of them in the past 45 years. Besides it's the C160's little brother.
