Here's the combination of Brian and Jo's tractor and Adam's generosity in helping me find this grader blade.

You folks just would not believe how much fun she's having. Out here driving around on the tractor and smiling and moving dirt.

Here's a couple shots of the driveway after she had covered most of the surface.

 

 

 

It's a little tough to make out but there's kind of a mound of dirt just to the lower left of that big rock. She was cutting into that mound and spreading it over into the driveway.

 

So you know.... I'm watching her do this. I took a couple pictures. We're trying to experiment with this and learn and I was throwing some rocks out of the driveway that she was digging up.

I couldn't help it. I had to go get Cinnamon. I had to join in the fun.

Trina's 867 has been sitting in the cellar for a few months because we haven't been taking the time to work on it.

Today we did a few things to it and got it back up and running.

The fuel tank that was on it was quite full of rust and scale so I took the tank off of the 1267 and changed the fuel lines and filter over as well.

Also, we had done a 6 speed transmission flush with diesel fuel a few months ago so today we finished draining that out and Trina and I latched onto the front axle of the tractor and lifted it off the ground about 25 or 30 inches to drain out the front of the transmission as well as the back.

I then added two quarts of nice fresh gear oil.

 

After all that was said and done we put the mid-mount grader blade on.

Am I totally oblivious to another build, or was this mainly complete as a project, or am I shooting in left field here?

Think it was a good idea to refresh the Gear Oil for a longer last.

i assume you releveled with a snowplow in the past.  I can imagine the grader was a big time upgrade!

This is the one that Brian and his wife brought out to us last fall.

He had rebuilt the carb and fuel pump already.

A few months ago we did a refresher to it including all new wiring and a general tune up. New oil. Replaced all transmission seals and added later model HD hubs. New fuel filter and lines.. Etc...

 

It had a fair amount of rust in the fuel lines so we parked it til yesterday.

Hahahahahaha.

I do I do.

I hadn't had any implements on a horse until this past snow season.

All my past dirt moving and realignment was done by hand.

 

She loves to run the grader...

Driving around and "doing something" other than just pulling trailers.

I'd be ok with that.

Man looking good up there in the great north. Liking the tractor and blade, can't wait to get mine done. I have a dirt drive also so I know what winter can do to one. When the wife is having too much fun on my tractor I have to get one and join in to. Just not fun to watch...lol

I got some plow feet from @WVHillbilly520H but haven't taken the time to install them yet.

Absolutely needs to be done before next fall....

That'll help a lot with the unintentional dirt moving.
