Dan @Achto did some mods to his 6.5 Predator in the Rat Rod and thinks he gets about 8.5 out of it.

If you want a little more out of that Predator, check out the Go Cart sights. They have a ton of mods for those engines. Some mod kits are claiming 11hp + at 7000RPMs. Important note: the stock flywheel will come apart at 5000RPMs, so if you wish to reach beyond that you will need a billet fly wheel.

I planned on keeping my governor so I did not replace the fly wheel. I did file half of the key on the crank down so that I could advance the timing a little. Installed a billet rod & piston, larger cam, and heavier valve springs.

A few picks of my install. The belt guard I made new & the rusted it to match the rest of the tractor.

I have an old Kohler K91 fuel tank you're more than welcome to have if you'd like it. It looks like a mini-suburban tank (same shame and fill port) but I think it's slightly smaller. May be able to make it work for the short term.

PM me if you're interested

Looks kinda like this one but dark blue:

Thank you for the offer. I will figure a way to make the predator one work for now until I get the right one.

That is really cool. Looks great. I like the way you made the cover match. That is a lot of work to shape the metal. Nice job.

I like all the mods you did too!

I saw all the mods on OMB when I bought the exhaust header. There is so much you can do to these motors.

Why did they make the seat raised up in the middle? Do they make a seat that is recessed in the front for guys? 🤣

I have similar lights on my Suburban that use the same 50w halogen bulb. To run them I use a battery like this one. I mounted it in the tool box under the seat.

My battery is for an ice fishing flasher but they are also used in emergency lighting fixtures, break away back up for trailer brakes, + a few other things. I get about 5 to 6 hours run time on a charge.

Dillon is doing some last minute modifications. Trying to make the fat tires not rub. We need to find rims with less back space.
