Start of construction homemade snowplow

As an example I use a youtube video of a homemade snowplow

Delivery steel

First fitting

b1.jpg

First I drilled a 20mm hole for attaching the bolt of the snow blade.

b2.jpg

It looks like this with snow blade.

b3.jpg

Then I drew a second plate to lock the snow blade.

b4.jpg

After i have filed everything fitting the plate looks like this now.

b5.jpg

Then I made a square hole in the steel profile.

b6.jpg

Now you can lock the plow in different positions.

b7.jpg

Then I welded iron blocks to the profile to compensate for the difference in the profile.

It continues the next days........................................................................:coffee:

it continues with the homemade

Today sawed as the first individual profiles fitting.

c1.jpg

Then I welded out of these parts a frame.

c2.jpg

Then I attached this frame to my hollow profile.

c3.jpg

So it looks finished welded.

c4.jpg

.....and so incorporated.

c5.jpg

Then I started making the tail.

c6.jpg

The u-rail serves as a guide later.

c7.jpg

This is what the finished hollow profile looks like.

c8.jpg

On the tractor, this hollow profile is plugged into the trailer hitch.

c9.jpg

Then I built another angle to raise and lower the hollow profile and thus the snow blade.

c10.jpg

Now it is dark and I am closing time, because I no longer see the tool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes it works great. unfortunately I oversized the part a little bit (I will use a smaller profile wall thickness for the next project )
