           The minute I did that the Chinese would violate my intellectual property rights and flood the market with cheap quality knock offs and I would be out of business!    :ROTF:

Last time I checked the member map China was very under represented on RS... So I think the bigger threat to your intellectual property rights will be government trade incentives to correct such a grave and disproportionate proponderance of WH’s in North America that lack narrow front wheels...

:D

Look really good! And I appreciate the time you took to document it, this is still on my list of things to possibly do with my Charger.

The "Ross Steering" and the "Fan Gear" steering arms on the 953/1054 both swing from front to rear rather than side to side as on other Wheel Horse models. 102_2850.JPG.d9a3d65ff26ced2cf8c6ed7a7851c4d8.JPG

If you were to fabricate a "Bell Crank" linkage you could convert the right/left steering on other models to a front/rear.

You are looking at a 053 frame turned upside-down with a Ross steering box.

I had thought the Ross box on Horses were just like Cub Cadets, but I see the box and arm is different. Obviously internals are the same. The Ross box on Ford's have the arm come out the side like old cars.

This is going to be a slow project probably but I figured I'd start a build thread. I bought a pulling horse and it came with this c-81 for extra parts. Also a kid's puller for my little girl.
Homely looking thing missing front tires, and engine. Steering was rusted seized along with pedals and linkages. Extra hood(I don't know what it fits) and back fenders came from the grass next to where it had began to rot into guys yard. Who knows what else its missing but rear end oil is clean and it rolls.
This is the wife's tractor. She originally wanted any tractor I could modify and turn into a mini Ford 8N. She has since fell in love with the horse and wants it built as is.
