Increasing my herd...

Doing today finally minorworkings.

Implementing a High Beam Controll light into Dashboard (last required for road approval)

And Fixes the Roof with rubber Dampers.

After doing that, i decide to have a longer ride (Testride)

I drove into forrest to my Playground, and move my little Mountain i did last testride back to normal. 😂😎

The new roof is a massive improvement, no interference occurs as with the older (Jesus Cross Roof)

It is completely silent i just hear the Engine.

The FEL seems now completely bleeded.

The reaction can now be steered very smoothly and the force is still impressive.

Than i try to dig in depth, how good it works,

i can diggin 18cm by 1 Shift with 4WD and differential lock.

This beast seems to be unstoppable, i love it....👍 😎

after my Testdrive, i went back into Frontyard and check if any troubles occurs.

Nothing to see, that can causes Troubles.

Back into frontyard, i begin win my further planing of my Hedgecutter Project.

Therefore i quickly attached a light Steel rect. Pipe i have in Stock, to see how it will look.

i also rethinkin for a Quickmount, for a fast exchange.

This is a look from Driverseat, how it will be looked at cutting Sidely a hedge.

This pipe is much to weak, i didn‘t plan to use it. It was just for testing and measuring.

So it will look if i cut Hedge Top.

Simply fixed by 2 Screws seems a acceptable solution.

The cutting tilt can be made with FEL also the lift.

The setup horizontal or vertical will be made by hand, maybe later via FEL, but that‘s a nice to have for me.

Thinkin to build another H Frame with that i was able to construct a quickchanger with a slider,

where i be able to enlarge it sideways if needed.

I don't think you've got enough movement there, Stefan. The blade should cut fully both sides. Mine does.

Yap, that looks nicely Dangerous. Hehe

but in right hands, this will develop a cool gadget.

i‘m compared the Oilmotor and the possibly shift i can use.

this Project will also be grown continousely like my Herd.

I‘m unsure about Oilpumptest, because i firstly must adapt the Return pipe to a much Thicker diameter.

no tube available in needed length.

Time for the Wheelhorse for some Service.

I went home and Hermes at same time arrives with the new ordered Clutch.

I immediately try to dismount the burned Clutch, but it‘s resited.

Then i dismount the whole Shaft from Engine with the clutch, what goes way easier.

Open Spanner of Engine belt, let it slip down and try to pry the burned clutch

with tender hammer blows arround the clutchbody of.

after 5 min, i increases the hammerblows and suddenly - fup- , the clutch was down.

i looked at,  yap definitely to weak torque, all clutchfriction parts really lights blue..

Than i inserted the new Clutch, what fits niceley and greasing all necessary Parts for Movement

and quick mount/ dismount, hinges, splints and levers.

Even quick verify and greasing the spindles again while mowerdeck was out,

than i looked about sharpness, but they still good.

So it becomes dark and i hurry, to mow a bit of the deeper grass, where before the Cluch give up,

just to see if my diagnosis was right.

Half throttle, full Speed down to the high Grass along the Trees (500m far and back)

with med. setup. whilst back, the Engine just play again a bit with the Throttle but not impressive.

The Cut was nice, but after i‘m back, i smell a bit weared rubber.

ok, it seems the Belt gives now up, no wonder about last thermal Stress.

After i‘m stopping the Mowerdeck i touch immediately the Cluch.

Cold, just the pulley seems a bit warm, but far from a critical Temp, maybe 30* C

thats fine.

than, now it‘s dark outside and i mow with Light, i jumped upstairs, grab the torch and take 2 Pics.

i know, no Story was happen without evidence... 😂

The new Clutch with now weared Belt

Hardly to take a good pict about real height 18cm on left, cutted at once.

I think this works well with new Belt again.

Yesterday the Belt arrives.

firstly i try in a hurry to insert, and wonder Why it will not Fit.

Firstly i doubt i‘m made a fail in measuring, but it was allway‘s a good idea, to take some Picts before you

disassemble a thing.

16EAFD76-4892-4753-BD9B-3D1091B5E191.jpeg.1dc3c3c10a778ebbaa374563dd0d5312.jpeg

a simply Fail while wrong insert clears up, where was my mistake.

42A09315-33AB-4ABE-B68D-5FE1A242FDDE.jpeg.330f8efb99173dacdb3119f1d294ade4.jpeg

at later night, i review my Picts and found one, where the Belt is shown.

I insert it in right direction and the mower fits.

i wonder a bit because of stiff spanner, so i get some Gease and bring it back to work.

Maybe this was the reason, while the old belt Lasts that quick.

However, i try the Mower firstly on slighter grass, later in higher grass.

Yes, it works well again.

After harvesting my last potatoes, i decide to clean up the Field, but i didn‘t want to do it manually.

So i develop a Stupid idea, Why nor use the Wheelhorse, as long as Mowerdeck was out for Cleaning.

That was the Rest i can keep for myself.... 😎

Because the neighbours ask for a Try. I‘m proud, they ask me,

so it give me the feeling my harvested Result can not be Bad.

i spend some and keep for us just 3,5 Kilos.

The complete Harvest was now all together 28Kilo by inserted 5 Kilo.

Anyway,

Than i search for few Quickstraps and bound my Manual Tiller onto my FEL.

So i can do the Job while having some Seattime on my beloved Horse.

I wanna move the Beast, while it‘s prepared for Road Approval.

Done as Sayed, i fiddeling it onto.

and it looks funny, but i tryed it if this will work.

i did a small Video, to show how it works, think i have to build a simple Leversystem,

that i can mount it quickly and stiffer, but it does it‘s work better than i expected.

i needs several passes, because our Soil iv very clayley.

but after 5 Passes, i satisfied with the Result.

Today i get a Buddy’s Trailer, now we will be prepared for Road Approval.

Curious what they Meant.

The guy with whom i talked all about, was not able to do, because he’s out of Order by Family,

so a Collegue of him make the Approvals.

i hope that‘s a good Sign.

I feel like in the School, short before Test was out.

Back from holiday, i finalized the Roadapproval with a Weightprotocol.

I must do, because the FEL was now a fixed Part of the Tractor.

Tells, the collected Weight of FEL all together was 74 Kilos.

the rest was the 3Point rearlift. (8 kilos)

Done.

Just have to wait, until Paperwork is finalized.

Firstly i do some Seattime on my Horse, to mow the Lawn. 👍

After i control weight yesterday with the Shovel mounted,  i know now, i have exactly 340Kilos on the Frontaxle.

08B98C66-9F1F-4B1D-B7C3-50D51BABB6B0.jpeg.e2cd9b7f530890b2f4f41c1a544ada8c.jpeg

And 277 Kilos on the Rearaxle.

4CEC554D-B6F3-490B-9DE7-275D3E4AC61B.jpeg.ba749ebdb50abbcc37d6147915c1d3b0.jpeg

The Anglepoint of my FEL was exactly at the center of my Rearaxle, what can handle up to close a Ton of Weight.

that seems enough for my Tests, so i feel comfortable with.

With that knowledge i tryed today, to change the Palette under the Agave.

I organized a newer Palette and mount some Tyres below, that she can be easy moved by hands.

To do this, i firstly lift her a bit and build a construct to stabilize and drive under the old broken Palette,

after that i try to move her out of the Frontyard.

That stoppen at the curbs, just the Tractor lifts front legs...😱😎

5C08985E-0E85-411F-99AD-255CD4F2F5E8.jpeg.2eff5e43f63780d58e266beb9a34dbe2.jpeg

After a first Try, where the Beast lift the Frontaxle and i must keep front tyres back on floor,

so i must put some weight in the Shovel, otherwise i have nearly no pressure on the Frontwheels.

I was simply able to lift the frontaxle nearly with just bit force under Shovel - easy to do.

Ok it rains the last 2 Day‘s,

that means that Beast of Flower has a overall weight now of about 320 Kilos. 😳

Damn heavy- i guess it was much easier, but it wasn't.

just after put +30Kilos in the Shovel i can drive with her on the Backfork.

Impressive was, the FEL has absolute no problem to lift her, even without added balance weight on rear.

it was also very stable, so i can carefully drive with her in the FEL.

All last and work as calculated and as expected.

I‘m happy with my build.

Reworked several issues

Firstly i reworked the Plowshield, while it was last year to weak, and the Beast pushes too hard.

After the whole Mountingbrackets rips, i improved all a bit stiffer, and reworked the Protectsprings

for the Plowshield to do a safe job.

630534C4-DFF1-417E-9E21-882044D9B419.jpeg.aca21a1ce20b64209feb916f33ea51c4.jpeg

the lift will now be handled with the FEL on my Horse.

1A8EC1C2-9DA8-47C6-A9CE-5438FB79371D.jpeg.ac295b8fa9a112faffa209ea74460cf5.jpeg

we will see if it lasts this year, pushing Leaf was a success.

8F9ACA85-3C51-49E7-92BA-1EADA0B54034.jpeg.3bf46f7c23cba4dcf304b971e46812cc.jpeg

Than i decided to rework an old Pavillion as a small cabin for the Winter on the Beast.

49D2744B-E49F-479D-9C3C-53FAE2FE54BC.jpeg.c44c11c7f18994aec8c5c14a28aec56d.jpeg

not pretty nice, but it will work for now.

a pretty cool issue was, that the Cooling temp of the Engine passes the Cabin and will act as heater.

while hedgecutting, i was able to test it.

Windshield was free, just a wiper will be built later on to remove snow.

but actually, it works pretty nice.

i decided to leave it without paint, as long as all worked as needed.

If it develops a bit of rust, i can deal with next year.

moving parts are greased and the rest, we will see

After i collected the Leaf, i had the Horse in Frontyard and can do some work on heavy things without moving anything by hands.

So i can rework the Hedgecutter Project.

87FF7CCE-D26E-442C-9E31-5198EDC7069D.jpeg.6c3c2b9df6269c5460d207d8ef0dc3c5.jpeg

it will be screwed under the Shovel of the FEL and can be extended about 1 meter sideway‘s.

The first try shows me the shiftmechanism was a bit to weak, but it works.

so i reworked the Mechanism to increase the stability.

a cut of 2cm thick hedge is now no more a Problem and all works as expected.

A422276B-359B-48E6-814D-6264BDB4364F.jpeg.a1e7d416f5ba07e7ed8f73627918cd9a.jpeg

the only thing i must change was the lines, they will be changed to 90* connectors, if delivered.

E2AAADFD-BAD5-4545-868F-61A31507EB9A.jpeg.10e041bf2e51b437420afb129420b242.jpeg

but it works nice and smooth.4F17F091-3D7B-4156-8165-F9F3A3C123C0.jpeg.d99f2c302f96bba1bf7d49ee47538304.jpeg

so Gentlemen, Winter can come, i‘ll be prepared...
