ebinmaine 63,077 #1 Posted December 29, 2018 This appears to be an early and small Tecumseh. I only have what you see in the photos below. No block. I can tell you that the crankshaft is substantially smaller than the one that came out of Trina's 657. This piston appears to have a measurement of about 2.28 inches with a slide rule. @Jay WellwoodWellwood is looking for a Tecumseh h55c or parts. I'm wondering if this pile is something that could help him?
stevasaurus 22,229 #2 Posted December 29, 2018 The Tecumseh HT55C and the 6 hsp Tecumseh are the same block. They did have some differences...HT55C had an oil pump...the 6 hsp is a splash...but a lot of parts are the same. Nice find. The real Tecumseh guys need to weigh in here Eric.

squonk 38,902 #4 Posted December 30, 2018 There should be a hammer somewhere in the pile to complete the set!
oldredrider 2,547 #5 Posted December 30, 2018 I'm with @Howie on this one. Smaller crank shaft and no oil pump provision would exclude it from being an H55C.
