Now what I need are images of other K series spec plates to verify valve settings and get all these correct before listing.

If anyone has or can take a close up image and post back to this thread I will be very grateful.

Thank You

Terry

Here is one of a K241. I thought I had a lot more on my computer/phone, but I don't. I can get you K91, K90 & K161 if no one beats me to it. I don't currently own anything bigger than a k241, how sad   :ROTF:

Thanks Mike

This is very helpful. It seems there were 2 variations of the k241 plates? I will post back with a picture comparing both that I have found.

It appears that the left image is for older pull start kohler engines?

Did any Wheel Horse tractors have pull start 10 horse?

I have much more to learn before listing these new plate decals

Terry, here is another 241, it is a long tag and had to do it in two photos.

I also have one of a   K-90.

You know that my handle is  953 nut!   :ROTF:   The engine was on an early production 953.

The K-90 was on a 1957 RJ-35

Sorry 953nut  I did not know they were pull start.

Again I have so much to learn.

I do have a K90 template and your image will help me verify I have it correct. Thanks again

I don't believe the K241 was ever offered in Recoil start. However the difference in the early production engines may be that they weren't fully 10hp. I believe the early k241's such as the one on 953 were advertised as being 9.5hp.

They were a 9.6 HP on the 953 and 10 HP on the 1054. The "S" stamped in the plate indicates it was equipped with a starter from the factory.

Terry, this is a photo of a mid-60s 10 horse. The engine is painted orange. Maybe off of a Jacobsen?

This one is a Wheelhorse K341 from a 1977 C160. Hopefully you can zoom in on it a little bit.

That is what confuses me @953 nut. If it had a starter from the factory why would they use recoil start and stop instructions?:eusa-think:

I have listed the decal for the K181S but need to make sure on the others before listing them.

If someone has a K241 plate that they can scan and email it would be very helpful to get the cut away areas correctly sized?

Thanks for all your feedback guys.

Terry, would the one in the above picture help you?

It isn't in particularly good shape and...

I do realize that's not a Wheelhorse but I don't know if it makes any difference.

It appears to be fastened with flat head screws so I could take it off and have Trina send a scan to you.

If it is not off a wheel horse that would explain why I see a few differences in the copy.

I appreciate your help but I want to make sure it will work on a kohler 241s that was made for Wheel Horse.

Thanks Eric.

anyone out there that has an 87 414-8? I need to verify the idiot light location on the upper dash panel.

Some had the seat switch at the top location with the parking brake light below it in second position and some models had the parking brake light at the top position?

Actually any and all pictures of 300 and 400 dashes will be much appreciated. Will need to know the year of the tractor it is on also?
