I noticed the big 1/2 round depth guides on the snow plow and figured the plow & frame was for a "D". I figured the bucket worked like a "Johnny Bucket".

oliver2-44 8,852 #10 Posted December 13, 2018 Does anyone have a "Dirt Bucket" like the one pictured. I've thought about building one for my 42" plow and would like to see pictures of how they have the dump feature designed on that one?
ztnoo 2,298 #11 Posted December 13, 2018 (edited) Huummm......well direct links to noted sales should always be including for the convenience of RS membership reference, IMO, but when they are not, one must search. And search I do. And research is my forte: https://lutzauctions.com/ Some interesting, curious stuff.........referring to other than just WH stuff. The WH manuals did catch my eye, however...... Dan Hankins 80 #13 Posted December 13, 2018 I plan on going but normally stuff goes for every penny of what it's worth and then some there. I went a couple of weeks ago and stuff was selling for more than it was worth and people didn't even know what they was buying. I help one guy load some stuff and as we was talking hi pointed at a wmb Briggs that i felt went for all it was worth and asked me were the carburetor was so i showed him and called it a mixer and he was like amazed, and he was saying he doesn't even mess with them he just gives them to a buddy to get running for him. c-series don 7,806 #14 Posted December 16, 2018 Did anyone go to the auction? I see there were a couple of Wheel Horse signs in the auction and was wondering if anyone bought them.
hcminis 1,532 #15 Posted December 17, 2018 Yup. I went. The large NOS sign sold for $3,100.00. The smaller sign sold for $1,050.00. The bucket everyone is talking about was actually an NOS loader bucket that would be used for maybe mulch. Had the spikes wired to it and never installed. The manuals went for a good price. I was able to snag a nice 1957-present large manual. Plus the gray binder which I had never seen before. Many other binders/manuals that I had never seen before. 12 tractors I think that were in less than good shape but salvageable. Many other parts that went for fair prices. 1

Dan Hankins 80 #21 Posted December 20, 2018 I'm not sure on his last name Johnathan was his first name, but it was the 1277 and the engine was locked witch he I'd say he didn't check. He had it listed for 125 obo but he never got back with me.
