What models are these

I found these two tractors locally here on craigslist they are a little rough has a deck that goes with it .what models are they?

he wants 200 for both but think he will take. 150

Looks to me like the first one is a long frame six speed, with a 9 or 10 HP Tecumseh. so not a 657. Just my thought.

2nd one...1961 701...that hood is just sitting there on the frame.

 I just spoke with the gentleman and I'm going to pick them up on Saturday. It's 100 miles away from here he said he would meet me halfway with all the equipment for 150 bucks.  It also comes with a mower deck for the 857 .  It has a 10 horse Tekky 

 And he says it does still run .

So what you are telling me is now I have to wait till Sat. to get another look at that 701 carcass  so I can see what you are gonna sell me off it?

I'd say that's a nice find and that hood for the 701 can be saved for sure. Little bit of time and it could look like new. So i wouldnt give up on the possibility of reviving the 701. Here's a 401 hood I saved.

 Yeah it is a little butchered I will find out when I get a hold of it this weekend. I need to know if somebody out there has a dimension on it of to  actually the overall length. My thought of it is somebody tried to extend it and cut it  to add a section  to make it fit a long frame?
