What is the correct belt needed for 42" snowblower

What is the correct belt for a 42" blower on a 260 series machine ?

Blower model number is 79263 .

1/2" x131.5 inches

For some reason the belt changed to 94-2999 for 2000 and newer models and can not find the dimensions of it.

Toro still supplies the 94-2879 and 94-2999.

Saw that in a few locations and some have a ? after the length so guess I'm not the only one wondering. Perhaps the two are constructed differently.

this entire issue seams strange to me , first off , a 1/2" belt to drive a snow blower ? typically a 5/8" width is needed for the pull power on a 42 " snow auger. next is the 131" size vs. the more typical 69 " length, this belt is driven off the pto point, yet it requires a 62 " LONGER belt  for this blower ? what am I missing on this problem ?   I have 42" st01 on my 312-8 , with a tech o matic hook up , my belt is a Kevlar 5/8" x 69" , this should be pretty simple to figure out , pete

260 is a vertical shaft tractor completely different PTO hook up.
