Evil Archer 300 76 #1 Posted November 30, 2018 My tractor had been running fine, I had a change in the tone of the exhaust shut it down and will not start. The fuel pump is pumping gas,I have spark, There is compression. Any ideas where I should start.
skrusins 128 #2 Posted December 1, 2018 Spray some WD40 or Carb cleaner in the carb and see if it pops. That will narrow it down to dirty carb or bad gas.

Evil Archer 300 76 #4 Posted December 25, 2018 I haven't been on in a while ( busy with Hunting ) I have done some investigating ,There is no compression, I removed the Head and both valves are moving the cylinder looks good no grooves or scratching. All I can figure is one of the valves is not seating. I'm not sure if it's worth rebuilding.

Tuneup 1,416 #7 Posted December 26, 2018 You already have the head off so pull the valve cover and check the clearances. Once that far, won't take long to run through a valve job. Done! Hunting is a priority and we understand
