Wheel Weight color?

So I have some front and rear wheel weights for my 702. There original wheel horse weights. The fronts are black and the rears white. They need to be cleaned up and painted. Im thinking paint them the same color red as my tractor, which is rustoleum sunrise red. But just curious to see others thoughts.

Take a look at the red colored weights on my tractor, this should give you an idea of what to expect

I like the look of the red wheel weights, and have them on one of my tractors.   I also have a set of silver ones that I use on a WH because they go well with the Chrome hubcaps on the front wheels.   Your call.  I think that most of the original weights were white or linen to match the wheel rims.   Your money, your choice.

I am leaning towards the red. I have all black weights on another tractor.

I think if you find NOS weights they are black. Those weights were made by a 3rd party. Cub Cadet sold them as well and they were white. I even saw an AMF tractor with the same white weights.

I’ve had a hard time deciding at times as well and have done both Black and Red, still undecided though.
