snowhound 103 #1 Posted November 21, 2018 414-8 with the key on but engine not running and the test light switch in the on position the clutch and seat lights come on, what is that telling me? Does it mean they are OK and the others are bad or are they bad and the others OK
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,428 #2 Posted November 21, 2018 Test checks the light bulbs to make sure they function. The oil light should flash in the test mode. Garry
WheelHorse314-8 58 #3 Posted December 13, 2018 On my 314-8 none of the lights work and there is no test switch. how do i know if they work at all?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,428 #4 Posted December 14, 2018 You should be able to force the lights on by following the operator manual page 13. If you turn the key to ON with the engine not running the oil lamp should blink. There is an oil pressure switch on the engine. More detailed wiring diagrams if needed Garry
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,428 #5 Posted December 14, 2018 If your hour meter works the bulb for the oil pressure has to be OK because the hour meter gets it's power through the filament of that bulb. All three lights are the same so you could switch them around if needed to problem solve but don't damage one. They are expensive. Garry
