Plow On

Recommended Posts

Had a good freeze this morning in NW Ohio. Took time to service and tube front tires this morning. Then put plow on. Any one else ready for the crappy stuff ?

I too have another round of leaf removal ahead of me, but the snow plow, chains and wheel weights are always on the 1055.

timh , funny you should ask, I just got back in , setting up the 312-8 , weights , chains , basic check over , ready to go. I think its early , but this will be my plow blade, my other 312-8 will be the snow blower, similar weights, chains. I think with the global warming , we are going to be on the wet /heavy snow side. either way , hi and dry or wet and heavy , the horse power will get it done, pete

That's my plan for the weekend, set up the 68 Commando 8 for plow duties and the 16 Automatic for throwing snow. Pictures of course will follow when done.

My Snow Horses are in a storage shed.  Walked up there today ...standing water all around it.  In 19 years here I have never seen so much wetness this late in the fall.

My Wheel Horse Workhorse GT1600 is never without its plow and weights. But I did prep this 414-8 this past weekend into winter mode to get it ready to be put up for sale.

I had surgery on my right hand the beginning of October so I had my tractor and both walk behind snow blowers ready in September.

RIG854, that blower set up looks stout, I can also  relate to your blower side wheels, mounted mine behind blower with swivel wheels. if I can find my pictures , I will send them. I also added a screw on ball to the end of the chute actuator rod. always found that ,not really finished for smooth use. used a 1/2" die nut to cut threads on rod end, picked up a brass threaded round knob at ,true value store , to screw on, presto !  a smooth on your hand lever,  I'm always tweaking on my stuff, to my liking. brother hood of the snow, pete

Must be the Grabber Blue; it was my wife's only input when I ordered the car.

2014 GT with the 5.0 and six speed manual.  Track Pack and Recaro seats are the only options.  3,200 miles and never in the rain.

I have always told my wife that any Mustang worth having has a V-8 under the hood! (She used to have a 1995 with a V-6..... I hated that car!)
