Sources for Genuine parts?

Recommended Posts

This would be for finding parts for my '69 Charger 12.

Much like my vehicles, I am a Genuine/ OE parts junkie. Does anyone have any online retailer recommendations? I was looking at the dealer list in the stickies section, but sadly nothing is local.  A better question is, how likely would I be to find Genuine parts for this thing? Mainly the carb and anything ignition related. Headlights and hood decals would be awesome, but I am betting I would have to find that stuff used. Oh well.

(It feels good telling people I have a '69 Charger project by the way... :greetings-clappingyellow: )

Thanks

A few years ago I was in the auto parts business.

We sold a lot to body shops.

One of the managers told me one day... He'd take a used original over a new copy/aftermarket any day.

I do understand what you're saying.

If you can't find the new parts, have no concerns about getting good used recycled pieces from someone like a z tractor.

Not quite new maybe... Ok almost 50 years old.... But they were built for it in the first place.

How about Partstree.com? I've had good luck with some OEM parts from them.
