The horse head picture has not much to do with what I’m showing, but it’s the way the camera was sitting and looked cool on screen!

Finishing touches on the guard today, but the big seam stitch is finally complete!  Once all welding and grinding is deemed finished, I believe I’ll put together a bigger e-tank and get parts cleaned up for filler skimming and paint.

I didn’t realize that some decals are clear until I peeled these off with the help of some heat on the bake side of the tin.

I have decided, the cracks need fixin’.

I have decided, the cracks need fixin’.

No turning back, no turning back.

This is a tough decision with the Stars and Stripes but it needs it.  @Vinylguy I hope these are enough reference to recreate some day :handgestures-thumbupright:

Good call Kevin. The cracks should go.

I'm sure that Terry will have no problem recreating the stars & stripe. Check out the decal that he made for my McLean.

I massaged the drivers side ( @WHX22 ) of the hood to help clear the big block, that made that crack a bit wider.  Just more fill material, right?

The toolbox is welded up!  Time for finish work on that piece.

Now, I realize they are the wrong color red.... but I have these machine lift points.  Since the box was built in proportion to Putt Putt’s hanging weight, I think they are only fitting.  Watcha’ think?

Me? Get stuck?  No, that’s not why she wanted the WD45.... not just in case I get stuck!  :ROTF:

I got the lid formed for the battery box last night.  I think I’ll leave the back of the box open and integrate a battery hold down into the lid... or something like that!

Well, let’s just pull that emergency stop button now.  She wants it cleaned and cleared.  No bondo, no paint.  (“At least for now” she says). Who am I to upset the woman, right?  I’ll e-tank all the new raw stuff to get the oils off it, then set it outside for a while to rust.

Then as she’s on the way out, she says “or get me a shiney new cup!”

And you’d think I’d shut my yap, but I respond.... “I’ll get ahold of @19richie66!”

@Vinylguy Terry, if you’ve already worked on my custom order, let me know how much I owe ya and we’ll settle up no problem :handgestures-thumbupright:

The woman’s got a point.... it’s “Frank” because it’s a Frankenstein conglomeration of parts, remember?
