One thing the pic doesn't show is the clamp that holds the throttle  cable is a clamp behind the air cleaner on the breather retaining stud. Lemme know you need a pic I'll sent the missus out to the shed  It's raining out

Thank you so much !  Thats all I needed. I need that clamp behind the air cleaner and she'll be ready to fire up after 15 years sitting in a mower graveyard. I saved it from going to the shredder. Its exciting !

Thanks for saving her Fan... it's kind of a weird setup back ther. A longer nut, almost looks like a all thread coupler for spacing then the clamp and a nut with a split ring lock washer thrown in for good measure.

You need to put the "Big Show" on your calendar, June 20 - 22 near Chambersburg, PA. Check their website later in the year for a flyer.

One of my projects this winter will be making a generator that I can put on the front and run off the pto. I want it to be able to switch easily between my horses. That is a project im really looking forward to.

do you have a local hardware store ? chances are they have a small parts, slide box area , with just what you are looking for, by the way, the best way to secure a slide cable is at, few points ,as well as the very end, for mechanical advantage. this would also be a good time to lubricate its function. I noted many bolt on opportunities in the pictures for a secure mounting of this cable, that  WERE NOT  used. CABLE CLAMPS ,Pete
