LAWN RANGER BELT

I was wondering what the stock belt size was for these lawn rangers. I just picked this up it has a newer 5hp briggs on it. i was hoping to get the stock belt length so i have some where to start.

Old WH # 1576 replaced by 9691  70" x 1/2" belt

I would start with a 70 incher but get a 69 and 71 and see what fits best. Never know if the PO changed pulley sizes or relocated the motor a little. Can always return the one that don't fit the best as long as they have not been run a lot or scuffed up. . Saves the multiple trips to the v-belt store.

Tractor Supply, Huskee Kevlar belts on the shelf.

Kevlar belts are green = oil and grease resistant. Never had one fail. :handgestures-thumbupright:

thanks for all your replies i started with a 60" but to tight.  I am going to 62-64" I Think that should work

The 70" X 1/2" belt would be an A-68 or 4L700. The sleeve on the belts at Tractor Supply will have both size designation on them.

The Lawn Ranger likes the Huskee Kevlar belts at Tractor Supply too. Ask him.
