Craig, I can barely just make me out on top.  Was that picture taken when you and Richie were rolling smoke in the back of the bus?😂

Richie don’t roll no smoke. :naughty:  Heck I don’t even own anything that will smoke a tire. I have burnt up a clutch before though. :laughing-rolling:

Well this one is finally getting some attention. Fuel system was rotten and I am not pulling the transmission to fix that so I upgraded to my new tank. Some measurements, cutting..... then some more cutting and here we are. A little clean up and then I’ll start on a removable tool tray for under the seat.

That looks really good Richie!  What’s your estimated capacity?

If my calculations are correct I think we figured just over 2.5 gallons. I will fill this one when I get back and get it going.

Nice job Richie,      :woohoo:       wish Wheel Horse had made a lift off panel under the seat.   :confusion-confused:  So many jobs would be much easier to accomplish.

I’ll cut all the pan pieces tomorrow. Have to talk my welder into putting it together for me.

Swapped out the steering column today. The top is the ross box I got with the tractor and below is what came out. :laughing-rolling: Has to be $30 worth of JB Weld on there. I see now why @scottbrucea you bought another steering box. You weren’t kidding about it being cobbled together. It’s all back to the way it should be now.

I’m actually shocked at the length some will go to “fix” something. The whole bottom is sleeved in pvc pipe and resin’ed together. I’m speechless. :confusion-confused:

When I brought that tractor home it would not steer at all.   I was completely dumbfounded when I discovered that glob of PVC, JB Weld, and fiberglass all held together with the blue Tapcon screws!   I was able to tighten it up enough to be able to move it around.   I’m happy that the replacement Ross steering gear I found worked out.   How did you fix that carved out spot on the frame?   It’s good to know that it is in the “right hands” now to get put back together!

I haven’t fixed any spot yet but will later. Just wanted to get it steering again. Yes the gearbox in it is a work of art. I’m actually going to hang it on my wall. :laughing-rolling:

Got the tray lip framed out and then introduced “Hank” to his sister. They’ve never met before.

The family resemblance is quite remarkable.   What is the sister's name, she is a qutie!     Need to introduce here to some of my boys.     :ychain:

Not sure what her name will be. I’ll give her that job while I’m up there this week. They do look like family. :handgestures-thumbupright:

Looking great Richie.  I really like the idea of a removable tool tray under the seat vs the gas tank.  Sweet idea and should be both functional and useful👍🏻
