RMaynard is right NEVER EVER have a little one on a machine with the mower running that is a recipe for disaster. Accidents that maim or kill kids can happen before you can react. Be safe so they can be around to take over for us

My youngest likes horses too, and she also knows how to handle them :-)

 

Notice her improvised hydro foot control.:text-lol:  Shes only 4, so she needs both hands on the wheel.

In VA no one under 16 is supposed to operate a piece of riding equipment and no one under 12 is supposed to operate a push mower.  Not that we always follow that, but it is a law in the record books.  We have had issues with kids too young wanting to drive farm tractors in the parade at our annual club show and it is monitored pretty closely by local officials.
