Hey guys we were following someone Home who bought a tractor from Dad. Passed a little WH with free sign. After unloading we stopping and grabbed it. Rear tires leak badly and are being swapped now. Looks like a little nice mower. Little brother to the D180.

FREE is my favorite 4 letter word, closely followed by BEER (which is consumed while bringing FREE stuff back to life!!!)

Nice score!

Thank you guys! We got it to run of carb clean. Solenoid was no good as was fuel line. Changed both and found starter lug broken. My friend gave me one but ran out of time to install it. Will try to do it today. Those rear tires were horribly dry rotted so some spares were mounted so we can move it.

I had one of those.

Not a bad little machine.

Mine had a side discharge deck which mowed very well.

Did not shift very well at first until I realized the belt guides on the engine pulley needed to be adjusted

then all was good (belt was grabbing pulley with clutch pedal depressed).

Cool find.  Seen a few of those small ones come up on the local classifieds site.  Free is always good.

It turns out  single Intek starter works great on the old flatheads! I have those starters by the dozen! We got it to start but carb is real messed up, choke hasn't worked in long time as it is frozen and linkage fell off throttle control. Think float is stuck closed so it will need to be cleaned/swapped. At least it looks all there!

Hi sorry for late reply. Some major health issues in the last couple years are coming to  a head. My dad got it running today after carb clean and removal of mouse nest. It runs good and all gears and deck works!

It needs repaint of hood and deck at least!

Not really just getting to point where there might be medical help in future. Been very stressful few weeks.

Hey guys. Did not forget the old girl. Did a repaint on hood and dash. Deck was painted as well. Looking better!
