Cyclone rake

I am looking at a 1995 520H 60” cut but have a question before I buy. I have a Cyclone Rake Commercial vacuum and am wondering if anyone knows if they will fit the discharge on the WH?  I really want a WH but this is a requirement. Looking forward to being able to add a tiller and other implements to it as well if the Cyclone rake will work with it.

Contact Woodland Power (Clyclone Rake) and ask them if they have the boot to fit your Wheel Horse. I'm sure they do.

Since the boot/s come closed in, I would think that even if they didnt have a specific one for the 520, that you could give them dims on the deck chute and I bet they could find one that could be cut out to match. Far as that goes the boot you now have just might be made to work. The boot I am presently using on my D200s 48" deck is on its 3rd fitting to a tractor by just making a few alterations - in fact it fits this deck better than any of the others.

 

I dont blame you for wanting to keep that Cyclone, that thing is a JEWEL!

PECO makes an aluminum adapter that I use on my 60" deck to their vacuum set up. But I believe that the adapter is for 5"hose.

They will definitely work with you. I got a great deal on a used rake a few years ago, I needed  a Mower Deck Adapter (MDA) for my JD the one they sent needed to be cut to fit the deck. Some measuring and cutting, I used a jig saw, it fit great. A year ago I decided to use the rake on my WH, the adapter hole was to large, I ordered another one, cut it to fit, works fine. How you connect the rake to the back of the WH is more of a problem than the mower boot. No good place to attach the hitch. I have a 2" receiver hitch on my WH, they make a great adapter that fits in the receiver, works great.

You will probably need a WH specific hitch plate...that they have available.

Same here. It's a pretty big opening to trim, but it works just fine. It'll fit.
