MWR 321 #1 Posted April 23, 2018 I have just gotten around to rebuilding my Kohler 321 for my GT-14. In the process of cleaning up the parts, the compression release cam spring flew loose and took off to parts unknown. I looked high and low for it, even using powerful magnets to sweep the area, but it was not to be found. No problem I thought, I'll just buy a new one. But so far I have been unable to find one. Evidently they are rare. I wonder if anyone here would have one for sale, or maybe even a whole cam with the spring on it. From what I can find out, the engine will not run without it. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,444 #2 Posted April 23, 2018 Was the starter motor in the line of fire? They have permanent magnetic fields which may have grabbed it. Garry
MWR 321 #3 Posted April 23, 2018 It flew loose a couple of weeks ago, and as far as I know it may still be gaining altitude.
