Well yesterday I got it all tore down the rest of the way. I started sanding some parts and getting them cleared. The photos don't do justice on how much the appearance changed. I think the change will be more visible when it's all together and sitting in the sunshine.

Well I got all the cleared parts that could be assembled done today! Just got to fix the hood and finish engine up. I suppose I'll probably give the rims a good sanding and fresh coat well I'm at it.

Thats not the first one that has been given the carpet treatment. LOL  I did a 1960 suburban in the house last winter. I assembled it all in the house anyways.

Well I assembled everything I could today. Got the engine all gone through. Put new valves and gaskets, tapped exhaust, re surfaced the head and so on. Cleared the patina of the engine as well. Waiting on the new front tires and then the rims and seat will then be repainted antique white.

I just got to put new front tires on and choke cable. Paint the rims and find a side cover for the deck and the sleeve hitch and she's done! Decals are on there way. Drove it around and ran the deck today!!! Here's a before and after pics for ya.
