Mulched the leaves in the yard again today. I didn't really *need* to do it yet, but I was having a crappy day and guess what? I felt much better after an hour or so tooling around on my WH making noise and clouds of dust.

Edit: I'm sure nobody else here understands that.

Yup.  Kid of sounds like my day.  Took the pontoon for the last trip around the lake today, then pulled it out.:(

Seat time making dust and noise after that.

Pulling the boats is the worst day. :(

My father-in-law (ex, I guess) has a lake house in Mass. I was the head boat and dock worker for over 20 years
. I always hated "pulling the boats and docks day". I didn't mind the work, winterizing the boats, pulling the docks, closing up the house. It was more the goodbye to summer.

Meh he's not my ex father-in-law. Screw that. We did countless projects together up at his lake house over the years. His daughter may be my ex, but he's still my friend. B)

Dock comes out tomorrow.

The lake gets kind of melancholy after Labor Day weekend.  A whole lot less activity, and the knowledge that nice days will be fewer and farther apart.

But, I do try to get outside and enjoy the nice sunny fall days.

@johnnymag3 nice grab!  It looks very well taken care of!  Do you have an extra horse blanket for that one?

Yes, I do

Came with one....if you look at the tractor when its loaded on the trailer, you will see the gentleman gave me a large towel to put under my strap, so I used it for a blanket !!!

That it was. Not knowing if you were going to find some land this year, 3 of us decided to just pick a random lawn & have at it so we could get some seat time. :ychain::lol:

You know Dan it seems you  don't even need ags,  weights or anything to hve a good time with those blades.

What Uncle Jim’s trying to say though Dan is ags and a bit of weight make for a more funner time...  but not necessary to move dirt around.

Someone on here suggested rubbing marvel mystery oil onto paint. Gave it a try on the hood as it couldnt really get worse. Looks 👍

Always figured to build another but just never got to to it.

The wood stove must roast you right out!

Weather here today was kinda of sucky but yesterday ws awesome! Hope indian summer continues till afer plow day. :handgestures-fingerscrossed:

Less than two weeks away now and the boys are getting antsy.

I did some exploring into some of the issues I may be facing with my recent purchased of a 1277 Wheel Horse from 1967.

Prodigious and accurately places fine wire indicates excessive excellent maintenance by PO.

Sorta.

On the plus side that's a super easy thing to fix and Wheelhorsepartsandmore.com  has them right in stock.

Thank you. I will look it up right now. Do I need any specialized tools to repair this?

Oh no no.

Literally 2 wrenches.

You'll need to measure the total length of your own tie rods.

On the other hand, the lack of duct tape indicates a very poor level of engineering know how... certainly below par for the average Red Square expert... :naughty:
