Is that a satin finish on the 657? It’s got a great look!

Good eye!

Yes it is. The tractor was built to be a worker and it has a lot of dings and dents and rust pits on it.

The satin is much more forgiving on the rough surface look.

The blue paint on the Patriot horse is also a satin. As is, the cinnamon color that is being sprayed on the c-160 we're building right now.

If you don’t mind me asking, What brand and color is that red?

We don't mind at all.

We only use Rust-Oleum 2x paint.

Trina is the one that does 99.9% of the painting here and she really likes the way that lays out.

That particular tractor is Satin Poppy Red.

Love those trails and your forest. I would be in heaven up there, till it snowed. :handgestures-thumbupright:

Snow can make it even better sometimes.

Makes it REALLY REALLY quiet.

No bugs in the winter. No pollen in the winter. Crisp dry air and we can look up and see the Milky Way and the stars are very very clear here.

We may possibly be slightly excited for the snow season coming up because we have better trail access this year than we have in the past and we're looking forward to doing a lot of snowshoeing in our forest.

Yeah Eric I’m also one of those that love the snow. There’s nothing more peaceful than a freshly fallen snow. Its a sound dampener! I grew up in the Midwest  and we had some winter‘s with feet of snow. Here in the south sometimes we don’t get any. Nothing like what you get up there in Maine.

I hope Louisville Slugger is stock piling Ash.  Some how the clank of an Aluminum bat just doesn't do it for me

Luckily enough Louisville sluggers can be made from hickory as well. All the ash have been dead for 2 plus years here in western Pennsylvania

Today, I got the Horses ready for winter. Bring on the snow!

Of course, seeing how I did this the first weekend of November, we probably won't get snow for 3 months.

Moved them both into their new stable the other day, lighting was better today though haha.

Also learned not to leave the keys in the tractors, because toddlers will kill your batteries 😂

Took the deck off the C-100 today to clean and also mock up the tiller to make an idler shaft.

Afterwards, I worked on machining an axle for another project, but that's not wheel horse related (but maybe also cool?)
