Repaired the wiring connections to the PTO safety switches on the 520-H. And removed the ty wrap that someone had previously installed.

Only had to put new connections on 2 of the wires.

I know a number of members think the safety switches are more trouble than they are worth. I believe in them and I'm pleased to see you keeping them in good operating condition. Congrats

Just wondering, how are the switches working now that you removed the zip tie?  I'm curious why it was put there in the first place.

Fair amount done again today.

Since I installed the Mackissic chipper shredder the left side of the bracket has seriously impeded the axle tilt to that direction.

Today I ground the nub of the casting of the axle flat.

Much better.

We also finished moving the rest of the 10 yds of loam we'd had delivered a few weeks ago.

I moved 4 loads of around 15 - 17 cu feet each so well over 2 cu yds.  All hand shovel loaded. 90% hand shovel unloaded too.

Damn good workout.

Part of it is now a path from the pallet bridge to the garden gate. The rest is now in a spare loam pile.

While I started getting my head wrapped around what needs to be done to move the truck and it's portable garage, Trina and her mom moved and stacked more firewood.

Notwithstanding the obvious of keeping you and your clothing out of the belt...

Make sure you shift into gear ONLY with the engine off.

On a Wheelhorse the belt GUARD is also the belt GUIDE.

Any crunching grinding gnashing while shifting will do irreparable damage.

Any GPS times yet?

Oops...

I think it's also important you wait for the belt to come to a stop. My raider likes to grind when I don't wait for the belt to come to a stop. It has the original belt guard and yet I have to countdown 3-5 seconds after pressing in the cltuch before I can kick it into gear without grinding.

My c-141 doesn't mind it running without a belt guard. (disclaimer: it has a thinner belt)

I found a broken 6-wheel stock cart where there's 2)wheels on each end that swivel & the center ones are stationary.I'm scrapping it & took the larger center wheels off & the have some nice sealed ball bearings in them & finally last Sat. I decided to mount them on my deck. They have a 1/2" bore so I got a couple bushings 3/8" to 1/2" 2)3 1/2" 3/8" bolts & put them on.

I am not a big fan of the stock deck wheels replaced mine with some compressor wheels that also have nice sealed bearings.
