Is that not a fire hazard?  I think my fire insurance states something about it...

That's what I was wondering as well. Although I guess a battery could explode at any given time causing a hazard.

oooww Can't wait:eusa-dance:

As soon as the current project is done I plan on putting the Y.E.T.I under the knife.

Although I have this urge to build an articulated tractor, and just ended up with a Panzer that needs work.😆😆

That quite a power plant. There is some shoe horning  to do.

the lockers at our local golfclub have accommodation for people to charge up their electric pushcart battery's. about the size of a U1 battery. One caught fire last season. all the golfclubs in the surrounding lockers were damaged by the heat. Of some drivers noting was left. I had a similair incident with one of those lithium battery jumpers. Now, I only keep chargers plugged in in the workshop when I am their.

I am estimating an additional 2" hood lift will be enhough if I relocate the fueltank. Making the hood 4" taller then stock.

I am going to try it so it looks stock.

I keep my tractors on a Battery Tender year round while they are parked.

I would recommend checking the electrolyte level once a month or two, as I’m pretty sure any charger constantly hooked up will tend to “dry out” the battery.

Non maintenance batteries don’t seem to be an issue.

As far as homeowners insurance, the ones I use ( Battery Tender brand ) is UL laboratory tested and rated, so I don’t see where it would be any more dangerous than a coffee pot… in fact I would bet coffee pots have burned more houses down than battery chargers.

Our insurance obligates unplugging all batteries from machines that do not get used on regularly basis.  Like over a winter periode

I just drove an hour to pick up the HI-LOW shifter of my C141D that my mind forgot when picking up the chassis.

I hope I have everything now, since the Decklift mechanism came in a box.

We got to keep these horses as complete as possible!

Did a little bit to the 312-8 today...replaced the leaky fuel valve and grommet.  Also put on the snow plow for the season...and BEST of all!  I got it to fit in the shed with all the other stuff!  It's an 8x10 so a game of tetris was in order...

I got the plow off of my 607 (plow was originally bought for the 520) and put it back on the 520 after I FINALLY got my flywheel key. It was nice to have both tractors running.

Aaaahhh, my one year is in April. It was my dad’s for about 5 years but then I got it running for him so he gave it to me because he was going scrap it long ago. I’m torn on which I like better. They’re both great but for almost opposite reasons.

No need to choose.

Accept them for what they are and get a few more.

That is the beautiful part of Wheel Horses. their are some many different models, they have been made for so long, and so they all have their own strengths and characters.

Today I drove my first horse for the first time. I have her almost a complete year. But transmission and fuel problems caused a serious delay on the first drive.

Luckily today was the day

PS: don't mind my hair, I need to see the Barber ASAP. they have strict rules due to covid.

Working on the C160 Automatic today.

I needed to move the seat back as much as possible for extra Bear 🐻 space.

We don't use seat springs. Took them off and sold them last week.

The rear seat spring pan mount holes at the hinge point are cracked some.

I decided to attempt bolting the 1.5" structural square tubing in through the 4 new seat holes and also 4 other holes to hold the square tubing to the pan better.

4 short bolts go through the interior of the tubing and the pan.

4 long bolts go all the way through the pan, tubing and into the seat.

Certainly much more sturdy and I've gained several inches of room.

Next is to repair or replace the bracket where the latch catches.

Then, clamps on the fuel system.
